I'm jewish, and I listen to christmas holiday music all day long. Holly and the Ivy is my favorite.

Am I fucked up?

No wonder I get along with you guys who love getting the pedicures so much. I guess we all have our inner homosexuality tendencies.

Fuck I just noticed yesterday, it's that time of the year where you can't enter a mall or a store without being tortured by smurfs blearing out Christmas carols.

I listen to a mix of things all day long, none of which are Christmas Carols.

Right now I've got "Cake and Sodomy" playing by Marilyn Manson.

Points for Biggy! :okthumb:

My husband has a station that plays carols/holiday music all day long to which he likes to listen.

I'll wait for Christmas Eve before I crank up the holiday music. I can take it for two days and enjoy it. Any more than that and I start to twitch.

Except for the Eagles's "Please Come Home For Christmas." Ya gotta love a Christmas carol you can strip to.

(Note: referencing another thread, there is an "apostrophe s" after "Eagles" because the word is singular. One band.)

That song makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...

I couldn't listen to them all day long.

There are some Christmas songs that I really like. John Lennon's So This Is Christmas is my favorite.

We don't have much in Chanukkah songs. Dreidel, Oh Chanukkah, and Adam Sandler's Chanukkah song. (Which is the only thing that he has done that I like)

"The Dreidel Song" can actually make my sister close one eye and twitch. :okthumb:

I bet I could break all you Christmas music lovers into snibbling pieces of sod by strapping you in a chair with a 24-hour feed of either "Chipmunks Christmas" or the one where the dogs bark "Jingle Bells". :whistling

Bah Humbug...

Although The Kinks Father Christmas is always worth a listen :okthumb:

But the last time I played father christmas
I stood outside a department store
A gang of kids came over and mugged me
And knocked my reindeer to the floor

They said:
Father christmas, give us some money
Don’t mess around with those silly toys.
We’ll beat you up if you don’t hand it over
We want your bread so don’t make us annoyed

Good choice, but "Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we" is a better album, IMO.

Christmas Don't Be Late
(All right you Chipmunks)
(Ready to sing your song)
(I'll say we are)
(Yeah)
(Let's sing it now)
(Okay, Simon)
(Okay)
(Okay, Theodore)
(Okay)
(Okay, Alvin, Alvin, ALVIN)
(OKAY)

Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast
Want a plane that loops the loop
Me, I want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don't be late

(Okay fellas get ready)
(That was very good, Simon)
(Naturally)
(Very good Theodore)
(Ahhh)
(Ah, Alvin, you were a little flat, watch it)
(Ah, Alvin, Alvin, ALVIN)
(OKAY)

Want a plane that loops the loop
I still want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don't be late
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don't be late

(Very good, boys)
(Let's sing it again)
(Yeah, lets sing it again)
(No, That's enough, lets not overdo it)
(What do you mean overdo it)
(We want to sing it again)
(Now wait a minute, boys)
(Why can't we sing it again)
[chipmunk chatter]
(Alvin, cut that out..Theodore, just a minute)
(Simon will you cut that out? Boys...)
