I thought we were the "No Spin" board.

I thought, when someone fucks up, we called them on it.

What is all this wishy washy congratulations on the engagement stuff ? (and yes, I know, I participated too)

Fact is, a man getting engaged is one step from the end of life for him.

Engagement leads to marriage. Once you're married, there is no more sex, there is no more sharing, there is no more partnership.

From the moment of "I do" life for a man turns from a free wheeling fun time thing to a perpetual slave to a woman's (often unrational) whims.

So, how come we are holding back and not telling him the truth ??

Huh ??
Huh ??
Huh ??

You've got a valid point. No one told me that when Toni said "I do", she meant "I do - everything I want and nothing you want" :(

I think you must have married the wrong person, then, Sarettah... My husband and I have more sex now after 7 years of marriage than most people still dating. And consistantly, at least twice a day, generally. Marriage isn't the end, marrying someone who's not compatible with your interests/needs is:P

From the women's point of view, that is probably all true...

From the man's point of view...

"Twice a day this woman makes me perform to her expectations. When do they stop using us, when I ask you, when ?"

LOL - I already know the truth... :)

I envy the twice a day after 7 years of marriage!!! Hell twice a week would keep me happy nowadays, and that's sad.. very sad... I used to be 4-5 X a day with her... Having a kid changes things though, you are both so damn drained... She's starting to get older so it's getting a bit easier but DAMN if she doesn't DEFINE the "Terrible Twos" so no relaxation yet :(

Well we have three kids, ages 7, 5 and 20 months, and believe me sometimes it's hard to make time... but it's well worth it.. You just have to find your groove.

I would also suggest a little helper we've been using for almost a year now, it's made an amazing difference in our lives... www.sweetsecretions.com ;)
