A teenager has been charged with indecent exposure after he was caught trying to have sex with a female mannequin on display at an arts centre.
Security guards found Michael Plentyhorse, 18, sprawled with the dummy on the floor with his trousers and pants down.
Police spokesman Loren McManus said: "There was inappropriate activity between him and the mannequin.
"That's the only way I know how to put it."
Guards said they had noticed several times before that the dummy's clothes had been removed at the centre in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, US.
If convicted, Plentyhorse may be registered as a sex offender.
Hope Matchan, of the prosecutors' department, said: "People might say it's relatively harmless.
"But I certainly would want to know if this person was my neighbour."

"Registering as a sex offender" should be reserved for people who commit sex crimes against other human beings. This was truly an "NHI" crime. He wasn't even doing this as an act of exhibitionism, which would bring the "sex crimes" unit into play. The young man is ill and needs help, not to be arrested and have what slim chance at a normal life which remains to him taken away.
I'm more worried about the woman who'd "want to know" if he was her neighbor. Why, honey? So you can hide your mannequin?

i spent over 20 seconds figuring out that it was "TR-6" the elaine mannequin was called. and I found the picture. and no points...no comments...no "hahha"...... fuck you all.

Yeah I had read that.
In fact many mentally ill people considered a danger to themselves and/or others walk the streets through hospitalisation cuts.
Not only in the US , but in Canada and the UK too.
But it is more marked in the US , I believe.
