It's sort of a toned down consumption junction, death and gore no porn, but does link to porn sites.
One of the adds show a man accidently hanging himself on a horse,
that sort of thing. Just seems a bit extreme for a news site, isn't Drudge quite right wing aswell?
It's been on there for a while so I can only assume it's making money.
