Sheez, how can it get weaker and not die ? It's only got 40mph winds. :yowsa:

Not to make light of the SFL situation of course. Florida has taken more than it's share this year even if it is nothing more than a big old thunder storm...

it would be funny if it weren't for the fact last night, we had a shower, it knocked down power and cable.

A heavy thunderstorm would put us back one step.

This is unreal. I'm so fucking glad I sold my place and leaving Florida. Now if I can just get my stuff moved before I lose it! lol

What's fucked up is that my place is sold and my contents aren't insured here. The last one destoryed tons of trees, my 3000 lawn tractor and all kinds of stuff.

All we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

Forest congrats on the house. I wish you had it already cuz I got all kinds of house stuff I'm getting rid of for free. OR maybe you want to buy this brand new cherry wall unit for a big screen TV WAY cheap. I paid 2800.00 you can have it for 1000.00 but you gotta move the damn thing.

I have someone bringing me down two 55 gallon drums right now that I'm going to fill up on Sunday if it still looks like it will hit.

Our local weather made a point of telling people it won't be bad, no evacuations, no hurricane shutters needed.

Oy, what a kinahurra!:-oops:

Points to Forest for a most colorful and euphonious word! :okthumb:

I'm telling my husband I want to get "furschnookered" tonight.

Of course...I may change the definition a bit.... :yowsa:

I tipped him $20 for delivering them to me. It's times like this that I wonder why I drive a Vette. lol

These storms are great. I now know how to change the oil in a generator and my backyard is starting to look like a toxic waste dump complete with 55 gallon drums, lots and lots of five gallon gas cans, cement blocks, dead mangled trees, beat up storm shutters, and the ugly remains of wooden fencing.

Gamma Update
Satellite imagery showed an increase in convection north of the storm's center early, but has since decreased once again. The storm center was located at 16.9N 86.2W at 1 a.m. EST with sustained winds at 45 mph. This is 140 miles east-southeast of Belize City.
High pressure north of the storm is expected to weaken, allowing a trough currently over the Plains to sweep the storm on a more northern course. Some strengthening of the system is possible, but wind shear is still high so any further intensification will be limited.

doesnt look like its getting any worse than it is. i hope not. stay tight!

staying tight is possible but only after a surgery, if you know what I mean

Serge you had surgery on your mouth??? :okthumb:

I do hope this one just fucking dies out over the ocean but I'm going to go pickup the rest of the stuff for my fuel farm over at Boating World or the auto parts store today incase I need to use it. I always wanted to have 175+ gallons of gas sitting on my property.

Surgery isn't always needed if one faithfully does her Kegels. ;)
