Started off at 6:40 a.m. with winds so loud I hit the floor out of a dead sleep, heading for the munchkins room to throw him in the closet and shield him with my body.

Took 20 minutes after I realized it was just wind for the metallic taste of the adrenline rush to go away.

That pattern continued up until about 10 last night, though I was never frightened again in that manner.

I'm think that hurricane people probably have the advantage over tornado people in as much as hurricanes don't just pop up out of no where.

Anyhow...

I'm back...

Glad you're ok Selena. I just heard there were 35 tornado reports yesterday.

As much as people ask me how I can live in FL with the hurricanes, I'd rather deal with them than tornados or earthquakes. At least we know what's coming and we can prepare.
