WebSideStory Stock Falls on Google Plans
WebSideStory stock fell yesterday after key competitor Google announced it will provide free Web-site usage tracking software, similar to the services Webside sells.
Shares of WebSideStory fell US$2.10, or 12 percent, to $15.90 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.

I never trusted WSS anyway after using their counters and *knowing* what traffic I was getting yet they only reported a 10th of it! Only their 'friends' achieved the top spots... :(

I gets better. I noticed Agnes (I assume his wife) sold another $22.3 million that day - maybe *that* is what dropped the price ($45 million in shares sold on one day). Perhaps they knew something about what Google were going to do....?
