I do almost all my shopping on the internet :)

Oddly enough, I have actually been thinking about what to get for folks this year, and have even done some window-shopping and preliminary surfing.
I normally refuse to acknowledge the existance of Christmas until American Thanksgiving, and consider the prime shopping season to be December 23-4.
I shop online as much as I can. I usually hit the stores for last minute gifts.

I shop almost exclusively online. I've already begun. (I can tell a certain webmaster's Mom that she's going to be getting a *lot* of business...and a certain other webmaster's wife, as well! :okthumb: )
Luckily, a lot of my shopping list contains people that are mad for DVDs, CDs and books. :)
I have to go out shopping for presents it makes me feel good but I will be doing my Christmas grocery shop online this year, it's so much easier :)
oh and Trev your coming with us :yowsa:

Our main TV appears to be on the verge of dying... so I might have to buy myself a nice gift ;)
The fridge is also complaining.... I'm wishing very hard for the TV to break and the fridge to hold up....
;)

Poor Trev :D
Will most likely do a lot online as it saves me barging anyone in the shops or on the streets ..

Already been buying toysrus and faoschwartz and amazon (somne in technicks name (amazon canada doesn't so toys and somethings can only be shipped to the US:)
One thing as this board is frequented by nerds it might be a good place to ask....
I'm looking for arcade games...the real ones refurbished.
Anyone know any good places?
I know of this one
http://www.bmigaming.com/games-videositdown-ns.htm
but 7k for dance revolution seems a tad pricey
I have a room that i thought it would be cool to furnish with real arcade games on the pretext of buying them for the kids ;-))

dance danec revolution? With the dancing pads? Shit... I dont care where you buy it, it will be expensive...
ebay is probably the place to find the most, but as with anything on ebay, it's risky... especially for something that big, and that pricey...

Can't you just buy the pads you stick on the floor for DDR? I've been looking into getting one for excercise (hahahaha) and I think with a decent pad and a few "games" it was going to be less than $300.

I'm not an expert on where to buy stand up arcade games.
I'd be more interested in buying games like Donkey Kong, Pac man, Ms pac man, Joust, etc. etc.

http://www.mame.net/ is what you need to play them...
if you want the full effect, you can buy/build a cabinet.
