I can hardly speak or swallow and my glands are so swollen it looks like I've got a tennis ball stuck in my throat. I'm running a fever and an overall feeling of shittyness.

Well, I thought I felt better this morning. Got up around 9:30, washed, shaved, all that shit. Felt pretty good and like I actually had some energy and that lasted exactly 45 minutes.

So, I have just gotten back up again and hoping to get some work accomplished. Yard need leaves done again, but it's starting to rain so there is my excuse on that one. Actually managed to get a whole 3 hours work in yesterday...lol.... Set up an OSCommerce install to play with and another phpnuke install to play with.

So today, maybe I will go play with them for a bit.

I forgot , your definition of "slim" when related to females , equates to my definition of "chubby".

;-)))I'd say something, but then I'd probably get threatening letters from NOW or Weight Watchers or Twiggy, and have to go find URLs and photos of myself standing next to both chubby and skinny women to defend my innocence.

well, here it is Sunday. Woke up this morning with all sorts of energy that lasted for about an hour. Ended up back in bed until a few minutes ago.

I hate feeling like shit !!

I end up feeling all sorts of guilty for not getting things done but when I try to get things done I end up all fogged out. This sucks.

Hopefully though, we are getting to the end of this shit. My head is not stuffed up, not coughing and sneezing so much, now it is just straight energy drain and emotions to deal with.

How's the rest of the sick crew doing ?

I researched "The Black Death" for a novel soon not to be coming to a bookstore near you. (The first draft of it is on my computer; the second is still in my head.)

Not to worry, I've got the flagellists on standby for protection. If needed, I'll make sure you guys go into those way-cool graves with the big, furnished well-stocked rooms underneath. The door to said room will be under the satin lining in your caskets. No expense will be spared.

I'll also make certain there's a weapon or two in the room so that you're well armed when you decide to go after Trev. :)

(I am giving him points for the historical reference, though. :okthumb: )

I can actually swallow without feeling like a hot poker is searing through my inner ear.

Mom's chicken soup has been helping. :)

I'll bet your Mom's chicken soup is so great it could be taken intravenously and cure most things! :okthumb:

Oh god, A JAP

A JAP that grew up in Cherry Hill NJ in the mid 60's through the 70's. A breeding and training ground for princesses.
I did, however, lose my standing when I married my first husband. A born and bred Sicillian, Catholic and dare I say it, uncircumsized.

You can't group all of NJ together. There is a recognizable distinction between North and South Jersey. North Jersey gravitates to NY, South to Philly. You can tell the difference in the speech dialect and mannerisms. South Jersey never says Joisey. :)

I always get confused about New Jersey ... I know about the part near NYC, because I was stationed with a couple of guys from there in the Navy.

The part I still don't know much about is, I guess, the south part - you know, the part that has Philadelphia in its suburbs.

The part I still don't know much about is, I guess, the south part - you know, the part that has Philadelphia in its suburbs.Oy.

Ok, Jersey is pretty much two states joined. The center line is found just a bit south of Trenton. There is North Jersey (Joisey) which is basically full of interstates.

The old joke "Oh, you live in Joisey? What exit?" primarily applies to North Jersey. In some ways, there's a bunch in the southern part of the state, but in the north, it really is so honeycombed that saying the exit really does (scarily) tell someone roughly where you live.

North Jersey is full of rocks. Looks like a bunch of giants lived there once and had a boulder war. It's also where the Pallisades, I very tall, very long mesa and cliffs are. Their seashores also fairly suck up there. North Jersey exists as the suburb of New Yawk. The main two cities are Newark and Trenton.

South Jersey is the suburb of Philly. It is there that the state moniker or motto of the "Garden State" comes from. Plenty of land, green, the Pine Barrens and woodlands, fruit orchards, plenty of farms. Lots of residential space with big lawns. Plenty of lakes down there too. And the best beaches and the best boardwalks. The main two cities are Camden and Atlantic City.

Oh and so screwed up is that state, so divided by North and South, get this. You can go to Trenton and take the train up to NYC. You can go to Camden and take the train down to Atlantic City. However, the train systems do not join up. That's right, a mere 25 miles between Camden and Trenton, but they don't join. Weird.
