View Full Version : Reward point fufilment. Anyone know the deal?

Many large affilaite programs offer points to reward affilaites for sales. In the old days a lot of the companies did them in house. Is this still the case? Or has this been outsourced?

Are there companies that can manage a point program, handle fufilment, etc?

I have done some of that for companies I have worked for, but it was for very high dollar credit card companies and the like.

I would imagine that if they are big enough to where rewards are consistently going out that they would have a dedicated employee for the task set up with the storage (if used), shipping account, where to buy, etc and have them just work on that each day to get the orders filled.

I haven't heard of any companies that do it through a third party, that's not to say there isn't already one, so that might be an interesting idea for a start-up company.

Likewise. I've never heard of an ancillary services company doing that, it was always in-house.

But ... having not heard of it doesn't mean one might not exist. And as TE said, not a bad idea for a start-up if the demand is there.

When I worked at TCG I made a couple trips to the local bike shop to pickup some affiliates choppers they claimed. Not sure what they do now...
