According to this SI article, http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/football/nfl/11/07/owens.suspension.ap/index.html?cnn=yes after the 4 game suspension, they will deactivate him for the rest of the season.

The deactivation will mean the Eagles absorb the cost of his per game pay. But during the suspension, he's losing approximately $800,000.

For $800,000 doesn't it seem like a person could just sit down and STFU???

I think there are more problems with TO than meet the eye.
The Eagles are better off without him if he's going to continue to act like this.

Problems?

He makes me look sane, Chris!

I read an article recently that compared him to Tyson, and I thought it was spot on.

It was only a mater of time. This was inevitable. What was most amusing about this was watching Michael Irvin try and defend TO on ESPN the other day. What a joke.

being from Philly I feel like I can toss my two cents in here -

The Eagles are a pretty bad team these days, with or without T.O. They're at 4-4 but they should be 3-5 or maybe even 2-6.

I wonder who they're gonna blame when they lose on Monday night? My money is McNabb's nagging injury which seems to disappear whenever he makes a completion and reappear when he throws an interception.

Go Sixers...oh wait, they suck too...

I can't think of even one instance of something like this happening in the NHL.

What is it with the egos of some of these football players?

I honestly wish more teams would do that with some of the head cases.

Players who part ways from a team, end up going to another team
and do much better. Even though TO is a butthead, teams will try to
pick him up.

He'll be a Dallas Cowboy next year.

Anyone watching his live press conference? hahaha

Wonder who wrote that for him.
