Yeppirs..
Leaf blowing time again :headwall: :headwall:
Spent a good amount of yesterday blowing off the front yard, loading up the truck and hauling off leafs. Hauled off two truck loads full and still bagged up 7 bags of them.
Then today I blew off the back yard. Have a big old mound of leaves ready to be hauled or bagged.
Worst part is today you couldn't tell I had blown off the front because so many more had fallen. :(

:boohoo: I HATE this weather too! Every year around this time I ask myself the same question "WTF am I doing here?!?!?" I start thinking about living somewhere nice and hot... And yet I'm still here getting ready for winter!

So... hop on a plane and hang out in a place that has no winter for a few months :p

Autumn is my least favourite season.
It's always cold, wet, and overcast. Although this year hasn't been as bad as others of recent memory so I shouldn't bitch too much.
November as a month just sucks. Worst month ever. :hmm:

*sigh*
You people have seasons. Here in relentlessly sunny Southern California, we have Fire Season and what passes for winter, which is rain. There is no "fall." Sure the temperature drops a bit, plunging all the way to the 70's, but it's not quite that crisp, can't wait to have cocoa of my New England childhood. There's no color here, either, unless you count the status quo green. We have a huge amount of jade plant in front of our house that actually has the effrontery to *bloom* in December. Where else on earth do little white flowers bloom at that time of year?
When the kids were young, dressing them for school was difficult for everyone. They'd need a jacket or sweater for the trek to the bus stop in the morning...but it would be in the 80's when they got out of school. They'd come home sweating with the jacket or sweater tied around their waists.
Once you've seen New England in the fall, it pretty much ruins the season if you're anywhere else.
I love every season... I'm also not a whiny assed bitch like the rest of you guys :p

Lets see if you're still saying that when Newton posts his pics of us on our Canadian adventure. :)
