Nikki Nova... :(

Many people here will remember one of the models I worked with in Jamaica,
Nikki Nova.

I haven't gotten complete information, but Nikki is in the hospital. She was
thrown from a horse yesterday, while on location on a shoot. She sustained
a fractured skull. She is currently being watched closely, as the first 48 hours
are the most critical with this type of injury.

I'll post more as I get more info...

Its a very sad situation, this is the post over from that "other" board

Yesterday we were on a location shooting and Nikki was involved in a serious accident. She was on a horse and the horse got spooked. Nikki fell off the back of the horse and then the horse fell back on her head.

She sustained a few serious injuries. She has a fractured skull and has 3 sections of her brain that are bleeding. She is currently in the ICU and is stabalized for now. She is getting CT Scans every 4 hours or so to check her progress so they can determine if and/or when they would have to go in and operate.

Right now first of all, we really need the emotional support of her friends and all the people that know her and have worked with her over the years.

I remember meeting her in New Orleans, as BillPMB introduced me to her. Very nice lady. I wish her a quick and speedy recovery.

I also met her, and got to spend time with her, in New Orleans. She was very pleasant company and had one of my favorite qualities: an ability to laugh at herself. When she showed up for the show, she had on an outfit that displayed her nicely flat abdomen. She had glitter on herself. I teased her unmercifully about that. ("Oh, as if it's not bad ENOUGH that you have such a flat stomach, you have to go and put GLITTER on the damned thing!!!")

My thoughts, best wishes and prayers go out to her.

nikki is, and has been, a great friend to my wife and I for years...we actually met her years before she ever got into the biz...we didn't even know who she was, she was just the hot girlfriend of the owner of the club I worked at in lexington, ky....she was taking a break from life and resting in kentucky

it ended up being very wierd once my wife and I started doing movies and looked her up once we got to LA...anyway, this is very sad news, but I am sure she will pull through, she is a fighter!

just keep her in your thoughts and prayers, as my wife and I are....she is one of the nicest people in the biz, and one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of calling our close friend

I am not trying to insinuate something here but some people on other board look at it as some kind of a scam. Things like this should be clarified. Personally I do believe on this and I hop she'll get all the medical attention she needs.
