Does anyone know how to get these fuckers to stop mailing "Domain Name Expiration Notices" to my mailing address?

I've never registered a domain through them ever, yet they've taken it upon themselves to post me 9 domain renewal notices for domains that need to be renewed in March next year.

I like this part of the disclaimer they put in the small print on the back of the letters:

"Domain Registry of America IS NOT affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of the United States."

Oh, one more thing I just have to point out: NO ONE at this mailing address has: porn, xxx, cumshot or anal anywhere their name, trust me on this one

They are cunts yep, but some people obviously fall for it.

It's not as if they're charging a reasonable amount for the domains either, $25 per domain. Are they insane?

Plus the renewal notices get posted back to a UK address... :hmm:

They used to charge $35 and it was a Philippines address.

People must be really dumb to fall for it though. It does say (in tiny writing) that this is not a bill. Not many would notice it though... fuckers.

If you bitch to ICANN enough they might pull their license. Think ICANN has done that to other spamming DNS services in the past.

These guys have been at it for a while now ... I got my first one 3-4 months after I bought my first domain.

Trev I got some of those too, 4 in total .. read it thoroughly, to then proceed to wipe my arse on one, and send it back in the enclosed envelope ..

An excellent idea. I can't think of a better way of them taking my name out of their database :okthumb:

There are about 5-6 companies who use this as their business model. I get at least a dozen a week. Think of how many trees they are killing.....
