Like it or not, SiteFinder, Verisign's 'service' where it replaces all non-found web addresses with it's own search/advertising page is likely to be allowed by ICANN.

Yes, but ICANN have indicated they will likely agree. Also VeriSign are waffling about "not yet made any decisions" - they know thar's gold in them thar hills! ;)

The SE is dead. The big problem is going to be 7% inflation on domains names every year till 2012. Big domain holders do the math on that one.
