I've lots most of my trees and the big ficus in my backyard took out the power lines that run along my property line. So far I don't think I have any house damage other then some fencing and losing a few roof tiles but this storm is far from over. Wind is coming from the other direction now and is much stronger.

Carlos the Blue and Gold macaw is in my house with me and my three cats.

My friends that I invited to stay with me and didn't were calling me freaking out and now I can't get a hold of any of them. None of them have shutters.

We were lucky here in Clearwater Beach. We went out to the beach to watch the waves.

We lost power for an hour or so early in the morning. But everything else is great.

Noah was in Naples when storm hit, he lost power - but I think he is ok.

Besides a bunch of fence and about a dozen roof tiles plus lots of cleanup I'm in good shape and feel lucky. A friend of mine that lives out on the west side of Broward lost most of their roof and their house is only a few years old.

Real glad that I went out and got eighty gallons of gas and plenty of food and stuff this week. Gas should last a long time since it is so cool that I don't have to run my one room A/C but it really suck having no water and being unable to take a shower.

Glad everyone's OK! We're lucky that our neighborhood has our own water supply and a generator to keep it running. Even when we were out of power for 3 days we had water.

I'm finally breaking down and buying a whole house generator. :)

just spoke with MikeW,
he lost 1/2 tiles on his roof,
few trees, has no power or cell connection,
Anthony has no cellular connection either, which is probably explains his silence.

Cory heard the Diplomat and surrounding area got hammered pretty hard. Anyone hear anything? It will be interesting to see how much of the multi-million beach is still there!
