power went down 20 mins ago, he is on Verizon card and battery power,
but dry and safe at the house
This is a loud one. I'm on generator power as of about twenty minutes ago. Cable modem is still working but cable TV is out. Oddly my DirecTV still seems to be working but breaking up a lot. Haven't checked my backup ADSL yet since cable modem is still working but it never has gone out in past storms. Looks like the worst part of the storm is going to go right over me.

Ive got power but its spotty - keeps going on and off, ive got the cable modem and routers on backups .
glad I put up all the shutters - its getting reall rough now, sounds like a freight train going by outside
