I know. The sun is shining here in Naples. It's getting breezy but it's a gorgeous day. There are a lot of people still on the beach.

They say the rain should start around 6 tonight, tropical storm force winds by midnight and hurricane winds by 5am.

We got a call from the Sheriff's office last night asking everyone to go to the shelters. None of our neighbors are going because we can't take our pets and no one wants to be stuck in the shelter for 3 days or so. Our condo is new and it's up to code, we've got hurricane shutters so we should be fine.
The store, however is right on the beach street on Marco Island and with a 10-14ft storm surge there may be a problem. Hopefully we got everything up high enough.
