I went outside to have a cigarette, and was looking at this huge tree on the corner that I always look at. The leaves were starting to die off, not brown, but a near death pale green. There was a small shower, and as it hit, the leaves succumbed to the pressure of the rain. Like snowflakes, they trickled down and accepted their demise, not in a depressing way, but in a glorious way. They went too young, but they went out with a bang. A real celebration of life and nature. :)
