 U.R.L.? Anyone been asked "What's you Earl?" ?

If your down south you might get Valvoline or Castrol as the answer.

We still pronounce it as the letters U.R.L. but apparently " URL " is now slang.
Do you have a preference? What's the norm? Does it really matter?

anyone that pronounces U.R.L. as a word should die a very horrible and painful death.

It is not a word and never has been one. Don't try to make it one because you're too lazy to say three syllables instead of one

Always U.R.L.
I've only heard a few people cal it an Earl. It bothers me.

Thank you. :)

I saw it first as "URL," not "U.R.L."
I also have an agreement with my husband. He won't tell me what all the little letters stand for and I won't scream at him until his ears bleed. My brain has enough useless information in it, I don't need anymore. I don't need him telling me what "html" stands for. I can *write* it, he can't. :)

Everyone in the North is far too dumb to call it either.
