I know there have been several threads like this and will probably be several more :)
I was working with some affiliates this weekend and one asked me about different tools I use.
These are the main ones I always use and recomend:
TextPad - http://www.textpad.com - great text editor with multi-page search and replace, spell checker and a lot of other goodies.
Photoshop (of course) - http://www.adobe.com - I realize I'm probably one of the few "idiots" with a registered copy. Paint Shop Pro is a great alternative for those that don't want to pay the big bucks for Photoshop
Irfanview - http://www.irfanview.com - great for batch resizing pictures. I prefer this over ThumsPlus and other such image editing programs because you can choose max height/width which makes it easier to batch resize a directory full of images without worrying if they are protrait or landscaped (to avoid those fucked up, distorted images that are rotated the "wrong" way).
Arles Image Web page Creator - http://www.digitaldutch.com/arles/ - this is great for generating galleries for member's areas or TGP galleries. ou can set headers and footers to be applied to each page and specify thumb sizes, table setups and all sorts of shit.
Style Sheet Maker - http://www.coffeecup.com/stylesheet-maker/ - Coffee Cup Software has some pretty decent editing software, but Style Sheet Maker is a lifesaver. I still code mostly by hand, but prefer to do my style sheets (especially really detailed ones) using this software.
Dynamic Drive - http://www.dynamicdrive.com - A great site for copy/paste javascripts.
Hot Scripts - http://www.hotscripts.com - A really good resource for PHP scripts. I can't code PHP to save my life, but know enough about it to just be dangerous and this site helps me upgrade the danger levels ;-)
