Incredible.

Such amazing use of color and depth. The bold strokes.

And the way he doesn't feel the need to stay constrained to the canvas...even going so far to use his own face.

Surely a budding Pollock....but then I am biased:)

My son was a lefty. It was odd because NO ONE on either side of the family was and it's supposedly hereditary. Now it seems my brother's 3 year old is one too :) Apparently somewhere down the line we were forced to become righthanded ;)

My son was a lefty. It was odd because NO ONE on either side of the family was and it's supposedly hereditary. Now it seems my brother's 3 year old is one too :) Apparently somewhere down the line we were forced to become righthanded ;)

I am actually both handed.Can write , throw things , kick a ball with each foot etc etc.

Probably as a result of being forced to use my right a lot.

As a teenager I played a lot of tennis. And could hit forehand drives with top spin off both hands.People's faces were a picture LOL

(If I ever got a decent second serve I might have actually been good lol)

Its very very weird and rare. Well , according to the shrink at school. LOL
One of the reasons I think (hope) I had 5 days of "special" testing. LOL :)

Yeah, John could use both for everything except writing. He actually preferred hitting/golfing/etc. right handed. It used to freak the other soccer teams out because they never expected him to have such a hard kick with both feet ;)

Peaches...it used to be common practice to force a naturally left handed child to write with his/her right hand. My oldest is left handed. Luckily, both she and her mother bite. I just put the crayons down in front of her when she was tiny and let her decide which hand was for her.

My mother was nearly ambidexterous, thanks to the nuns at Cathedral Grammar School. They didn't believe that her severely shattered right arm should stand in the way of her studies. It was "learn to use your left or get whacked with a ruler."

I think in this set of photos, it's quite obvious the little lad takes after his father. The obviously intense concentration and dedication to art. :)

I've met Mom, though, and I'm pretty certain she's the one that set up this whole thing. :)

It's nice to see that someone besides me let their kids have finger paints. :okthumb:
