Ok well there are actually two things

number 1

writing a statistics test when you forgot to bring a calculator. That really really sucks. especially when you have two hours and have to do some seriously complicated math in your head

Number 2 and the most relevant at the moment

I'm trying to find a victorian style tailcoat or some other type of mid nineteenth century formal wear.
I'm supposed to be dressing as the phantom of the opera for halloween and a few other costume things i've got coming up in the next couple months. I don't want to look cheap and cheesy in my phantom get-up. I've been looking for something similar to what was worn in the recent movie but finding a good quality suit for under a grand (preferably somewhere around 300 cdn for the entire outfit) sucks. I've been looking online for hours.

I can't look crappy because my girlfriend is actually getting a dress custom made.

bah I hate being told what I'm going to wear for halloween... this is why I don't like getting tricked into relationships.

(that's off my chest now)

Wonder what would happen if people showed up for an exam and their calculators were replaced with slide rules ...

You're in College right? Some kind of business/math program?

You know what is really really hard? Going to a stats test and forgetting your calculator...
