Where did you get your stupid nickname?
I'll start with mine.
I was given the name EroticySteve by my parents on cold Winter night in Nunavut where I was born.
In Eskimo EroticySteve means "One who makes a lot of damn money".
It was wierd growing up in mainstream society with such a name.
When the opening came available I luckily got hired, now my name is useful.

How Steady came to life.
My nick name as a kid was Freddy. :)
all my buds called me Steady Freddy. Till this day my friends call me Steady. :)
I've managed to lose my nicknames because I went with my real name online.
There's nothing worse than doing something a few times and getting a name for it, that's why I love the net, it's a fresh start for everyone :D

When I first came on the net my nickname was NatureBoy after "Nature Boy" Ric Flair the greatest professional wrestler of all time, which at the time Oprano's own Vick also used as a nick and he had it before me. Well after being confused for him on a number of occasions I decided to change my nickname to TheEnforcer, which is the nick for "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson who was also a charter member of the Four Horsemen, wreslting first truly great super stable. :)

I've always loved your nick, Chris...since it is exactly the opposite of what you really are, which is a total sweetheart. :wub:

I go by so many different names I'm not sure which are real and which are nicknames :(
My ex husband nicknamed me Red when we first started dating. That was back in '84 so when I got my first computer, naturally that's what I used. When I left him in '99 I wanted to change my nick, but by then I was known by Red and I just figured it was easier than starting over.

I earned my stupid nickname years ago, but this time it was a gift :)
Mine is a shortened version of an online name that I used to have before I came into adult. I got sick of the other one being perpetually misspelled, its really annoying when people can't spell a word that's sitting RIGHT in front of their faces. I figured it would be easier for the simpletons of the web, to remember the order of 3 letters :)

It goes back to first posting on Netpond, Anthony was still running the newbie board.
I went to post after a post from Tommy, Voltar and Anthony, all of them presidents/vice presidents of this that and the other, so I used 'the president of nothing', but in Spanish cause I was living in Spain, and its gotten shorter through the years.

Added the "at ilynx"...( which at the time the was the #1 amateur free site) because one of the first questions everyone asked "what sites do you run"
To this day loads of people pronounce it crazy , instead of the simple "Nick at Ilynx"

(Which was nominated for an AVN award the same year my story site was, for you trivia freaks in the audience.) It wasn't until I asked the booming voice on the phone how to pronounce it that I got the correct pronounciation. "Oh," I said, as the explanation made perfect sense.
And The Actual became "Technick," due to an incredible proficiency with making stuff whiz around. :okthumb:

No, I didn't win. I was so clueless about the whole process, I didn't even have a "vote for me!" button on my site. I just thought "oh, nominated, cool" and went back to work.
If I *had* won, redlion would have had to get up there twice, because there was no way in absolute hell I would have. I don't do "in front of people." They don't even have a story site category anymore. Damn shame because my story site now is gorgeous.

Everything I came up with, someone else already had, so they said "well you can have that name, but with a 5 after it or a 143 after the name". I said, "no, I don't do that AOL shit! No numbers!" ... After a dozen different tries, I knew they couldn't possibly have "dravyk", and there you have it.

He's like 53 years old now but is still in damn good shape. He can't do 60 and 90 minute matches and some of the stuff he used to be able to do but he's definatelyt still in very good shape.
