Took some time to take my son and fiancee to Disney World

Just got back, lot of catching up to do

Yes there will be pics (maybe next week)
and I long overdue trashed my laptop, felt so good to bust it up in the parking lot (in the case) didn't want to leave easy access to someone who might find it

It's Chrissy's 22nd birthday today so off I go on rides again

I dropped an IBM ThinkPad off of the fourth floor of a parking garage.

Accidentally.

Really. It was an accident. Honest. And no one was hurt because the security guard let me know it was safe to have my accident.

Safe for humans and other cars, that is.

The fact that this laptop had power supply problems and would power down even when on regular power had nothing to do with it. The fact that I had reported it - TWICE - had nothing to do with it. The fact that this laptop had failed on me in the middle of a mock trial in beautiful downtown Tyler, Texas, had nothing to do with it. The fact that this laptop was the THIRD computer that had failed on me in the middle of this mock trial had nothing to do with it. The fact that the jackoff cocksucking egyptian jugfucking sumbitches in IS had insisted that they set up my computers and backups before the mock trial had nothing to do with it.

If it had fallen on the head of the Director of IS - which was my first plan - it would have been much harder to convince anyone it was an accident. The fact that it was witnessed by two senior partners made it impossible for anyone to prove it wasn't.

ThinkPads used to have a pretty good splatter pattern.
