Actually, I did read some of the Hardy Boys. But only when I had exhausted whatever Nancy Drew was available.

Same for me. I went through Nancy Drew and my brother's Hardy Boys.

I read more Hardy Boys than Nancy Drew...but that was because of the TV show....Shawn Cassidy and Parker Stevenson were HOT! :P

Back in the late '60s, I read a Hardy Boys book a week! That's when I was 8 and 9. I wanted to be a Hardy Boy! ;)

I read a *lot* as a kid. Read Nancy Drew, the Hardy boys...a mystery involving a family, unfortunately I can't remember the name.

One summer, I started at the "As" in the in the children's section of the little local library and kept on reading. It was fun. When I was a kid, I believed that my mother had read every book ever written, so the library was one of her favorite haunts.
