I figured it out all on my own, I did. sarettah is 1 point richer.

But I like the little mousey and little linky talk. It blends right in with when I talk about thingys. That is always lots of fun in the hardware store. I go in looking like a deer caught in headlights and stand there until some unsuspecting man offers to help me. Then *he* gets the deer in the headlights look after I explain "I need one of those thingys that goes over a part 'bout this big...I dunno what it is called...and it has those thread like thingys on it"

When my dad still worked behind the counter in the auto parts business, the one thing that always pissed him off was talking to a woman who was relaying questions and answers to a man. One Saturday (I'm guessing it was half-past beer thirty) he answered a series of questions about a water pump.

His last question to her was "Do you want that with water, or will you supply your own?" She dutifully asked her husband, and when he started laughing at her, she got all pissy with my dad, threatening to come in and chew him out in person.

About a half-hour later a woman squeezed through the door of the store. She stood about 6 foot and weighed about 350. She demaned to speak to my father; his boss managed to convince the woman that he'd gone home and was going to be fired for being unprofessional on the phone.

Seriously though.. hmm.. Money is ALWAYS an acceptable bribe. The promise of a few lap dances while at a show (gotta go to one again eventually) might work.
