In the last week we have acquired two new computers, two new printers, two new cell phones, and changed from DirectTV to Dish Network on two televisions.

If you are considering a low-end Dell (for a student, whatever) I have found that they do not work and play well with some LinkSys wireless adapters. I spent 6 hours on the phone with "Bob" (how many Bobs are there in Bombay, anyway) and two on the phone with Chuck, trying to get the S.O.B. working. Never did - went to Walmart, bought a Belkin USB wireless port, and it's working fine. :idontknow

Now my old Compaq has "lost" contact with the CD & DVD drives.

I want a fucking week where I deal nothing more high-tech than a fucking rock.

As for Belkin I love them, I've got their wireless router and their network network cards. The shit BT sent was just nasty. :mad:

I've got a lower end Dell as one of my two computers and I had no problems at all with my Linksys router.

This is a brand new Dimension 2400, and the two simply would not work and play well with each other.

Odd. I've never talked to someone who hasn't liked their Dell system they bought. :huh:

She's very happy with that Dell. I've been very happy with the other LynkSys stuff we've bought. This most recent attempt to mix the two, however, was not pretty.
