I don't know about women in other parts of the world, but here in the USA, alot of women must hate you and Nick simply because they cannot stand to hear the word cunt/y.

I for one think its a very colorful word. ;)

Yes, many women - and men, oddly - freak the hell out at the use of the word "cunt" in any sentence whatsoever. I've even had female adult webmasters say they refused to use it. (That one left me agog. There are words that some *won't* use in a text link??? Do you want the fucking site to convert or not??? Geesh...the freesite as a political statement. Bonkers.)

But...I digress. Why the hell is it fine to use *male* genital slang as pejorative terms? It's accepted, among people who swear at least, to use "prick," "dick," "cocksucker," etc.

Now "pussy" is used to mean "coward." (If you were going to get upset about a female genitalia word usage, why isn't it that one? It actually has a translation.)

And now we come to "cunt." Calling someone a "cunt" causes so many to freak out and I, for one, don't get it. Sure, I save it in reserve for big time insults...but that's mostly because I use the rest of them so frequently they've lost their impact.

I get told "my, you're cunty today" quite frequently by...He Who Will Not Be Named. :) Am I insulted? Fuck no. Why would I decide he was "insulting me" when he isn't? He could have said "bitchy," but his vocabulary is larger. My usual response is "yes, I'm very cunty today." I didn't notice the world falling to ashes when we both used the word.

One of my absolutely favorite pejorative terms based on female genitalis is "twat." As in "you're such a twat!" I like to think of it as an upgraded "twit." If you're a twit and work really hard at it, you graduate to "twat." :)

yeah, cunt is such a taboo word...but wow, if you ever get around my wife for more than an hour, that is her favorite insult, but to her it is just as generic as saying asshole or bitch

i personally love the word cunt......i had a scottish friend that recently took his life (yeah sad, but I am over it, no need for boo hoos)...but his favorite word to call idiots was cunt, so now when I hear it I think of him...so, to me, in a way, hearing the word cunt is a wonderful thing
