Hello :waving:

About legal stuff, I got a simple page that I plan to add banners for affiliate sites and some free stuff do I need to add first a page that warns that the site your about to enter is porn and you must be 18 and if so would I make that page the index.html first page that would come up. Is there a generic page I can just copy out there that is 2257 compliant. One more thing I was just at quickbucks page they state that there content and pages are all excempt from 2257 and I just would have to state this in my page could this be true I can only quess that there content or sites are outside of US.
Thanks.

On the index BEFORE any link into your site you should have a warning.

This is what I have on mine:

Before continuing, please be advised:
This is an adult site is intended for the entertainment of legal adults *only.* The sex pics and porn site text contained herein discuss sexual situations in a frank and open manner. Do not make this site available to minors. You are responsible for knowing and abiding by the laws in your own locality. "Reighlynn's TGP" bears no control over nor responsibility for the sites to which it links.

If you understand the restrictions on this site and agree to abide by them: ENTER or if not EXIT

OK...taking it slowly...Yes, the first page *must* be an index.html page that warns that you are about to enter a porn site. Warnings come with various wordings. Please check my "why make an adult website?" thread for more information. It is not the page itself that needs to be "2257 Compliant," it is the content. And you must remember, that no matter where or what the content provider or sponsor says...YOU are the one who must be compliant. All providers/sponsors must provide you with their 2257 information, and you should have a small link at the bottom of your index.html page to a copy of that information on your site. Do not link to the information on your sponsor's site. Why would you want your surfer to leave your site and go to your sponsor without having clicked on your sponsor link first? Yes, certain content is exempt...and I'd avoid it like the plague. Always make certain that you are using content on your sites that is compliant and that is backed up by a page on your site.

Also remember, absolutely NO hardcore on the index.html page, and that includes banners. Provide your surfer with an exit link to a nonadult site, preferably a nonadult sponsor link of your own or a non adult site of your own.

This is one of my sites grabbed at random, just to show you what I mean by 2257 Compliance pages. (I picked the one with the worst warning in it, but we can do further work on how to write a good warning.) For now, I got my content for this site from the place listed on the 2257.html page. I copy/pasted it and put it on my own site, so any surfer who clicks doesn't leave my site.

Note: I've stopped linking the ICRA button, but I haven't gone back and changed all the sites I've made previously.
