Nick did indeed find some narrow fairways with tons of water, thats excellent, and I don't mind narrow courses at all. I found a G5 driver that looks sweet and just released .. so it looks like I will be getting one of those ;)

There be two schools of thought....

There is Newton's ( mentioned above) which is taught by Pro's etc , and then there is mine , which , is "TWAT IT!!!"

It's not as much fun as they make out... well not if you suck at it like me and spend the whole game catching up - only to see the cart disappear off in to the distance again...

My husband and I stayed at a resort in Palm Springs for a business thing and our room looked out on the golf course. Damn, it was beautiful. I'll never play golf, but I'd love to ride around in the golf cart while other people played. :)

Don't worry, Trev...I'll drive your cart and stick with you! Ah, the opportunities for "I've got a hole for you!" remarks! :yowsa:

You have lived, if you have not played a round of golf with me.

I've been told, it's the best comedy seen in a long time!

If I can get my personal stuff straightend out by the time this shindig is set boys, I'll be joining in for the foursome! I got my Pings and Callaways still up there with the missus!

Remember when I hit you with the ball... you were in the cart behind me to the left. Now that's comedy golf ;)

Yes, indeedy. Which, being the British gentleman that you are, you will then procede to mention (at great length and with appropriate facial expressions and grunting) were the absolute *best* strokes you personally have ever experienced and you're lucky you survived! :yowsa:

You and I , vs Trev and Newton.

However , Newton is a ringer I think...

But we've beaten touring Pros before now :)

OK, and this doesn't leave this thread. I sucked at Pong. My husband loved it when we got it. I hated it and couldn't for the life of me play the damned thing. There was no way of knowing at the time how involved games would get. I tried PacMan exactly once. He kept getting eaten. I ended up wanting the little sucker to get eaten.

The "kick in the nuts" smilie...thereby dragging your poor, abused testicles back into conversation...which unfortunately I just did by explaining this.

Yes. I could have pm'd. But I want a "befuddled" smilie, too.

Great word usage. :)
