Jet Blue plane with landing gear screwed up to land at LAX soon.

Currently circling to burn off most of fuel first.

getting the feeling news crews are:
a) well they were hoping it would crash ( most pilots were like "no biggie")
b) hoping Rita is really bad.

yup....seeing Paula Zahn cracked me up....she said 'i've never had 3 BIG stories all at once.'...blah blah....of course they had to add in that twister in MN just for kicks...'They're evacuating...erm, um, wait....the evacuation has been called off'...

They're looking for ANYTHING to talk about at this point....sad...

BTW, that pilot landed that plane beautifully. I was on the edge of my seat. The entire crew should be congratulated...it was so nice to see things turn out okay.

And yep, the press is bored to pieces. To think if there was currently a Democratic congress in, we'd be looking at investigations and impeachment trials everywhere by now.
