So far, not bad for a Monday. Probably will make it until noon before I have to turn the air on in my office, got 20 pounds of coffee from UPS, cats did not wake me up with evidence of their hunting prowess, and sinuses are behaving like they are merely annoyed for the first day in two weeks.

Dog has filed protest, however; I wouldn't allow him to eat the UPS guy, who was, after all, on his porch.

Weather here is typical Southern California. Damn, this place needs a dimmer.

I have to totally retrain my new Mozilla Thunderbird to catch spam. *sigh* Not really a problem, once the thing gets the point its like magic sucking the spam out of the ol' inbox.
So how com Red's getting offers to increase her jizz load and I'm not? Doesn't anybody care about MY jizz load?? I'm quite offended here, Nick. ;)

My cherished and most deeply missed little dog, Darla, would have been a serious danger if she had been bigger. (She was the product of a purebred poodle and a purebred Cocker Spaniel and a case of true love that beat the fence. Woman in front of the grocery store had a box of puppies. All I remember is going "no, no, NO!" at my daughter when she said "can we see the puppies?" then...somehow...I was back home with a tiny white puppy under my chin. Never did make it *into* the grocery store.) Anyway, Darla was a *fierce* protector. She protected the chickens from the neighborhood cats; the neigborhood cats from the neighborhood dogs; and her family from everybody. One day the UPS guy was at the door talking to my daughter as he delivered a package. Darla was glued to my daughter's ankle giving the UPS guy the once over with her eyes. All was well until the UPS guy handed over the package and Darla's "space invasion!" alarm went off. She jumped forward and *bit hard*! Luckily, all she could reach was the poor, innocent man's shoe. Had she been taller, we would have had an injury. As it was, all we had was a "startled." UPS guy saw the humor in it, thankfully.
