With Gonzo now departed as an owner and mod on Oprano, we are having a new logo commissioned to replace the mafia one at the top which will be clean, crisp and more corporate to reflect the new business orientated goals.

We have a selection beneath that were done by the great guys at bluewiredesign.com and want you good ladies and gentlemen to vote on the one you like the best that will be destined for banners / headers and also for branded products such as giveaways.

If you are a budding designer and wish to design a logo yourselves, we will pay you $200 if we like it and its used. You will also recieve credit on the board for the new logo.

I don't want to choose just one, rather, I will give some thoughts.

First off, this is a great idea. Get rid of this current design.

All of the designs offer a little something different, but here is a thought: I would avoid using designs that take away from the brand name. If you look at the others, specifically the ones on the second page (outside of 5), they tend to distort the name. Now, our eyes tend to miss that because the name OPRANO sticks out because we are so closely associated with it. But new people might not see that in it at first.

1 - looks like a medical site or bathrooms
2 - looks like a beachy tourist destination site
3 - uhhh... ew?
4 and 6 - looks like the site is "Pran". The O's look like decorations.
5 - you're now entering planet oprano
7 - just something weird about this one, can't put my finger on it, reminds me of a birthing site or something

second page is better, but still... we need a "none of the above" option. Guess I gotta go with 5.

I'm not overwelmed by any of them but 3 is my favorite of the bunch, but I'd pick a different color scheme. But that's just because I'm not a fan of orange ;)

It has to be #2.

The rest are good, but #2 is more memorable, simple and classy.

Some of the best logos are really simple like that.

honestly, I'm not real wild about any of them, but if I had to pick I'd choose #2, though in a different color.

#1 really does remind me of a rest room sign.
#5 is reminiscent of the old original Oprano logo

They're all rather boring.

there should be some more, cool and indepth ones done before picking one of those. they look nice, but not enough to be the header for a nice board imho.

seriously, there's no edge to any of them, looks like clip-arts with 'Oprano' in them

To add something constructive, Ill #3 is the best, since there's actually a logo in there.

5 and 7 seem to be the most crisp in the actual logo design. I'm not a huge fan of the color schemes on any of them though, not a whole lot of interest.
