Porn site set to use Solidarity domain

Solidarity trade union officials are outraged at plans for a pornographic website to use a World Wide Web domain bearing the famous union's Polish name "Solidarnosc".
"This is unacceptable - Solidarnosc is the symbol of free Poland," Lodz regional Solidarity chief Waldemar Krenc was reported to have said.
After having failed to sell the www.solidarnosc.com domain to the union, owner Leszek Boronski decided to rent it to operators of a pornographic internet service as of October 1, the regional Dziennik Lodzki daily reported.
Union leaders are expected to address the issue.
