yeah theyre ok, I spoke to Osiris today for about 10 mins after finally getting through to him via text message. He's going to be without internet for a while most likely. The area where he is had some severe winds as well as a few tornadoes touch down so his town is a pretty big mess, lots of downed wires, poles, trees etc etc.

With his internet being down I worry about the fact that he isn't really able to work or access money he has in epass and who knows when and if any mail is coming through since he's so close to new orleans, most likely mail comes through there. I'm considering taking up a collection just to be sure he can take care of what he needs to while his town gets things back up and running. He does have a wife and kids he has to feed so It's a concern I have

I know I don't post here often, a lot of you don't know me from a hole in the ground, but a good bit of you know me very well and I'm sure they'll vouch for me that I'm not trying to scam anyone into donating but I do this out of an incredible concern for a friend and his family. If anyone is interested in helping out feel free to contact me, if I'm not here I'm probably over at LSU volunteering with the 1/2 million refugees who have taken over Baton Rouge and I'll get back to you as soon as humanly possible.

I appreciate any help you can offer them, they don't really know I'm doing it but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't.
