At what point did your site go from a small paysite, to a large one? Was it quality of content? Increasing the volume of content? Increasing volume of updates? Volume of initials?
I'm not seeing a huge volume of initials because I'm not a big player right now by any means. I'm just having a tough time. I know all of those factors listed above can improve initials and retention, but it's just a matter of getting there!
BTW, what's the average conversion of double-opt in mail traffic? I don't have a list but I need to plan out what kind of results that can bring. It's something I really need to have. So if I had 10,000 double-opt ins, how many joins could I look forward to seeing if I mailed it every week?
