OK people, it is time to step up and help those that cant help themselves on the Gulf Coast, here in the USA. If you have seen the pictures it is hard to believe the devastation. I know many of us have incredible memories of New Orleans and other spots down South. Those memories and experiences are because of the PEOPLE there.
Now those people need the help of anyone that has a few dollars to spare and they need it fast. Those of us that are not affected have got to do what we can if we can. The death toll will rise, the homeless count will skyrocket and it will be months before there will even be potable water or basic services. Food and shelter are luxuries that are not available even if these poor people had money but The American Red Cross knows how to deliver relief, and fast, with funding.
To help address this crisis ePassporte along with Christian and RRRed have created the Webmaster Support Fund which will raise money to be donated to The America Red Cross through the Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund.
Donations may be made via ePassporte, with no transfer fee or costs charged by ePassporte by logging on to your ePassporte account at www.epassporte.com and following the prompts on the login page, or, by sending a Transfer to User Name: hurricanefund. To start this effort off ePassporte is donating $5,000. right now. We are asking our clients, friends, associates and everyone in the Webmaster Community to donate what you can, as fast as you can.
Your donations will be posted by ePassporte, unless you wish to remain anonymous. In this situation, we feel that it is best to at least let your peers know that you are donating, although you may want to keep the amount private.
