Are you still in the adult biz?

I'm curious. A lot of people who hang out here have already made their money in adult. Some have retired and enjoy the fruits. Some have pissed it all away. Others have simply moved on looking for the next big thing.

So let's see how many are still actively slinging porn and how many are just hanging around to socialize or whatever.

but while only 10-50% income is from adult, this is a record setting year for us in adult.

So just like everything else i do in life, there is no category for me in this poll either :)

I haven't been until I stared working for Nick and Gomzo..... but I enjoy it quite a bit...... so for the last several months i have been and because they are good people I have enjoyed it.....

I'm a relative newb, so yeah all my income at present is from porn. I'm on the lookout for other alternatives too though.

We are believers in several revenue streams, so there is porn and mainstream ....for us, plus a new mainstream project with some friends.

I just came accross this great new ( well ,new to me) way of marketing a product to millions of people.

Hell , back in 1997 ,I posted along the lines if I could be paid as much for selling golf clubs online , I'd be selling golfclubs.Nowadays my talents are waaaay better rewarded in non-adult.

50-50 right at the moment. By end of year expect 90% to be from mainstream and offline ventures. Will probably always keep a toe or a foot in the door however.

Very interesting spread so far. All over the place.

My approach is same as it has always been, I put the money and resources onto whichever projects look to have the best return rates. However, spread it around and use some of the excess to take some risks. I also will occasionally buck the trends as I've had good success by doing so over the years.

Our mainstream ventures are currently growing at an exponential rate, but the adult still provides the steadier returns. As adult gets tougher, it actually regains it's appeal to me as it weeds competition and creates opportunities.

While most of what we do is still Adult related, and probably always will be, we are slowly getting away from "Porn". Now that we've made our money, we're doing things we want to do, Most of that is Adult Lifestyles related. Being "Swingers" for over 20 years, we want to get out and play (and make money) from that community.

Due to an 8 year old son at home, I have no reason to fully retire until he is 18. I figure I may as well do something to keep me busy, and this is as good as any. ;)

With all of the divorce drama and just total burnout, I was pretty much out and then got an offer i couldn't refuse...announcement coming in about a week or so...
I did enjoy my little break, though and truly needed it.
