I am thinking of going with this hood when I get her fixed up, http://www.ramairhood.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=15 - What do you guys think? I'm slightly worried about the clearance due to the carb, if you look closely at the before pictures you can see the cutout in the top of the hood when it is lifted that 'had' to be made so we could shut it.. Which is why I went with that particular hood scoop as they had already idiotically bought a new factory hood..
Anyways, from the sounds of it I am going to get $2500 - $3000 to fix this car up .. So there's a house payment, windshield fixed, sweeter hood (IMHO), and completely fixing the overheating problem.
Of course the original paint job is still shit but I can live with that for a couple years ... :)
