N.M. Police Probe Homicide at Wal-Mart

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Police surrounded a Wal-Mart on the city's southeast side Thursday afternoon after getting an emergency call that someone had been shot inside the store.
Police confirmed that one person had been killed. They said there was a stabbing and then a shooting, but they released no other details.
Police had the area cordoned off Thursday evening.
Witnesses told Albuquerque television stations that they saw a man stabbing a woman inside the store when another man shot him.
The gunshots sent people running, according to witnesses.
Earlier this week, a man opened fire in the parking lot at a Wal-Mart in a Phoenix suburb, killing two employees who were collecting shopping carts.
