I have a toy dealer instead of a drug dealer

My toy dealer called me today

At least you didn't have to tear Louisville, Kentucky, apart one December looking for a Blueberry Buckle doll that you never found.

My toy dealer was able to hook me up with a tumble tree tree house for my son's 4th birthday when I couldn't find it anywhere else in stock,
He had it dropped shipped to my house in time for Sebastian's 4th birthday
That was more than a month ago and he finally returned my call to pay the invoice today

Can't beat that kind of service

You have a toy dealer? Man that's devotion. Everything we got when our kid was four sits in the room beneath the crap he had to have but never used when he was five.

It's cool when your dealer hooks you up with some really awesome shit, it's even better when he doesn't hit you up to pay for it until a month later ;)

Yeah I got lucky with this dealer

He knows my son (and ex-wife) from them going into his brick and mortar shop

Let's just say he's an interesting type person

I'm going to try and prepare you for this, Vick, as much as you can be prepared.
For a long time, birthdays and holidays were easy. Go to the toy department with a list. Purchase. Come home and wrap.

Then...that first Christmas when the toy department wasn't involved at all.

What a shocking bummer that was.

My husband and I just looked at each other, feeling old.

The good news, for me anyway, is that it came back. The youngest has the world's largest Tigger collection and my middle child is hooked severely on "Hello Kitty." I got to buy toys again!!!! :clapping:

Having three girls, I don't know how it goes with boys.

I'm currently bummed that I don't have to buy school supplies, but luckily, there is a place to go - I have to find the bookmark - where an Indian Nation is desperate for school supplies so I can get my "buying crayons for kids" fix. :)

The word on the street is that the R'us pimp started out on a street corner. Now that dude is in every town :yowsa:
