I remember when I was in HS (early to mid 70's) and my Dad was working for IBM he used to bring us home "computer pictures" all the time. We thought it was the greatest thing :)

Wow that's classic. The earliest I can date back, is around 1990 when I was downloading GIF swimsuit images from a BBS called Sonoma Online. Back then, EGA monitors were the latest and greatest. I think they supported 3 or 4 colors. I thought I was a pimp mutha fucker before I went over to a buddy's house not long afterwards, and discovered what VGA looked like! Wow I was simply blown away! I was immensely jeleous.
To this day, I'm still amazed.
