As someone who was anti letting people only with badges in the show, I gotta give her credit. It worked out really well and she turned me into a believer.
It may have made the show smaller, but it was a step in the right direction for AVN and the show, I met a lot of people. With less people, it was easier to see and meet a lot more.
I like the idea of vegas going on with more expensive prices. I think it prequalifies the people who go. No one likes spending more money, but for the two times a year i venture out to shows, ill deal with it.
my internext thoughts (cut and paste from the pond)
Much different internext this time, they booked the whole hotel out and unless u had a ticket you could not enter the hotel, great idea, less people but much easier to network, spot people and generally uncrowded atmoshephere was awesome, i felt this show was much easier to do biz.
Hotel was more intune with the needs of the people attending, not having to worry about non porners staying at hotel so things wer emuch more relaxed on that front.
Show floor was quite small, sad in a way but the ability to find people made up for the lack of booths.
now if they can only get it to where the sponsors doing parties combine so there is only one party per night then its perfect. more than one party means alot of sponsors putting the parties on will remain unsatisfied with People Vs Party ratio.
Netpond.com got the best advertising on the whole show thanks to simon who went out at 4am int he morn and wrote it in big fuck off letters all the way down the beach.
hope someone grabbed a pic
I think vegas is going to be the absolute opposite to fla as far as people and booths esepcially with comnbining with the porners from the vid indistry, will reserve judgement ont hat move till ive been tot hat show allthough not looking forward to meeting up with Ed " im an egotistical lunatic" Powers lol

I had a really good show as well,
anyone that did not do good business at tis show must have been sleep walking.
I like the fact that many of the people were program owners and/ or Managers and not just sales reps running around on a vacaion.

I thought it was a great show and told Aly the same. I'm all about the food (duh) so that could be improved upon but I did a lot of biz, saw people I wanted to see, and it wasn't a giant cluster fuck.
The Cabanas were a great idea - just get some AC units in there for those of us with extra padding ;)
