If you had to choose one meal to eat every day for the next 3 months what would it be?

For me it would be chicken vindaloo, pilau rice and a peshwari nan every night.

hmmm.. tough one. I would choose ginger and soy pan seared diver scallops, steamed baby bok choy with salt/pepper and lemon. a marinated buffalo mozzarella and beefsteak tomato salad, and as an appetizer, littleneck clams on the half shell with a drop of rice wine vinegar on them

:)

My one meal for the day would consist of:

6 each eggs whites...scrambled
2 servings of oat meal with apple sauce
2 Tbs. of natural peanut butter.
8 oz. glass of soy milk...vanilla flavor.
1 ea. multi vitamin

That will give my body enough protein and carbs to substain itself, if only one meal is consumed per day.

Not filling but satisfying..Though keep in mind, one meal a day is not very nutritious for the mind an body...especially for a period of three months.

and to further clarify, that would be right around 300 calories for the meal. about 80 g of protein, potassium is taken care of. and of course daily vitamin supplements and 200 oxs of water would take care of the rest;)

I wasn't going for healthy or needed intake of vitamins or proteins... I'm going for tasty pure and simple, if I've got to eat the same thing for 3 months it's got to taste good :)

Plus I’ve survived for 32 years not giving a damn what goes in so why start now :p

Yes Trev...but keep in mind Newton is talking about one meal a day for the next 3 months.

If I was consuming three meal a day, it sure would not be what I orginally posted. Since we are talking about one meal a day for the next three months,
I want to make sure after the third month my body is functioning as close to normal as possible.

I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong...I'm just looking at this from a different perspective. What would be best for my mind/body and overall well-being.

I've pretty much only eaten one meal a day for the last 7+ years, I've got piss poor taste buds and sense of smell due to welding fumes so eating is more of a chore than a pleasure. :(

Granted it's a different meal every day ;)

Ah...the war between the "healthy" people and the "but it tastes so damned good people." The "healthy" people have time on their side because they'll be the ones left standing after three months. :)

I tend to agree with Trev... yumminess over health... I go 8 months a year while i'm in school eating pizza and KD with the occasional buger from mcdonalds thrown in... I rarely eat lunch either... just a dinner

I'm still standing after 7+ years, plus all the veggies on my Sunday roast will tend to my needs :p

Like I said in another thread, when my boy can fetch my beers for me, sitting is all I will do ;)
