After many nose darkening compliments on his poker skills and promise of a custom sheep shaggin video, Nick has granted me permission to post the following announcement for Oprano Crew...

HostCamZ.com (http://hostcamz.com) Sponsors FREE Premium Hosting

Yes, you read it right. CamZ.com is again raising the bar for affiliate incentives by offering free PREMIUM hosting accounts with NO fees and NO bandwidth charges to our affliates via our new hosting service at HostCamZ.com (http://hostcamz.com)... yet another way CamZ earns WITH our affliates and not FROM our affiliates.

HostCamZ.com (http://hostcamz.com) is now paying all of the hosting bills for current AmateurHosting.com clients effective August 01, 2005. We are now taking applications from other webmasters wanting to eliminate the needless cost of hosting and earn additional revenue via our multi-millon dollar PrivateCamZ.com (http://www.privatecamz.com) affiliate program.

This is not, I repeat, NOT the 'free hosting' model many will remember from years past. We will NOT be putting a slew of unsightly links and banners in the headers and footers of webpages. On the contrary, because the conversions for PrivateCamZ.com (http://www.privatecamz.com) are so successful, we only require a BARE MINIMUM of links on your website. And the best part is, we even PAY YOU our normal affiliate rate of 25% to 75% for putting these links on your site(s)!

The CamZ Family has always taken care of our webmasters and HostCamZ.com (http://hostcamz.com) is no exception. We have purchased and installed over $100k of new servers and routing equiptment to create the best possible network for our clients... Our CamZ performers know how to convert your traffic from lookers into buyers and from buyers into REPEAT buyers... the only thing missing is having more webmasters like yourself on our winning team. Don't be content with substandard hosting!

If you have ANY questions after looking over our detailed information at HostCamZ.com (http://hostcamz.com), please do not hesitate to ask. Looking forward to welcoming you as newest member of the CamZ family!

First, awesome, Mark! Can't take that away from Camz! Congrats!

That said ... damn, hosted galleries, hosted sites, hosted banners, free hosting ... is there anything affiliates don't have spoon-fed these days? http://oprano.com/msgboard/images/smilies/blink.gif

... And still there's a bunch of penguins that can't make any money in this biz. Weird!

Very Nice

Now when is the viewing of the sheep video?Um... that reminds me... when can you fly out here... I need an Uncle Sam stunt cock and I know you have a sheep... ;)

Drav and Trev,

I agree that there is too much spoon feeding going on... This isn't a handout to the beer and pretzels crowd... It's a hand up to the legitimate webmasters seeking to expand their sites and try new marketing vehicles w/o the constraints of worrying about hosting fees. You know my dislike of bullshit Harry, and since I'm the HRIC I can tell you this is a program for savy webmasters looking for an edge NOT Johnny webmaster living his pimp dreams out in his mom's basement... ;)

It's a cool offer, ARS was doing the same until recently, but dont kid yourself, "legitimate webmasters" and "savy webmasters" can pay for their bandwith bill, and will.

Also, how will you deal with 2257 issues?

Indeed thoses that don't have a problem paying their hosting are EXACTLY the type of webmasters we are looking for to join up with HostCamZ and offer this special perk too. When we say linking requirements are minimal, that's not fluff it's fact. It's those savy, business concious, REAL webmasters that will see that our offer is more than fair because it is turning an expense on it's ear.

Take a webmaster spending $400 a month on paid hosting. They switch to HostCamZ.com and they are already $400 ahead for the month just by putting up a few links. But now that they don't have to worry about bandwidth fees and overages and any other incidental charge some hosting providers tack on each month, they can instead spread their promotional wings and start marketing outside the box. This increased activity is an imediate win for the client because even if they are not successful, the marketing didn't cost them a dime extra in fees.

Math wise, the webmaster's traditional revenue streams would have to drop $400 and they make nothing from our required affiliate links and they STILL would not be any worse off than they were with their paid hosting provider.

A much more likely result though is that webmaster will save $400+ in hosting fees, continue earning from their present revenue streams, and have the added bonus of earning from our high end affiliate program.

That's why we are confident DG... it just makes good business sense plain and simple. ;)

Regarding 2257 all applicable laws apply. Not sure what one has to do with the other really. We are providing an exceptional hosting services just as some other companies do, only we choose not to make people pay for it.
