Personally, I would have gone with "America the Beautiful," but nobody asked me. "Oh, Canada" kicks our butts either way. My mother actually used to watch hockey games with my father just so she could hear that song.

But, I digress. Happy Birthday, Francis! (Who, by the way, was a poet-lawyer and only wrote the words. The actual music for the "Star Spangled Banner" is from the British song "To Anacreon in Heaven." I guess that means he could have hired himself to defend himself against a charge of violation of copyright, if those had been more litigious times.)
