Over 250,000 people lined up to be cast as an extra.

I thought it would an interesting experience. I wanted my 30 seconds of fame!!! I wanted to go down there but then I got busy training a new cam girl.

I'm glad I didnt! 250,000 people!!!! (The pay is $9/hr). Damn. I think I'll stick to porn.

LOL.

I was an extra in two movies, back some time ago.

The first movie was with Kirk Douglas and John Schneider. apparently I did a good job as an extra, I was cast for a speaking roll in the second movie with David Carradine...Grass Hopper!

The first movie paid $50.00 a day as an extra. The second movie paid me $250.00 a day. I got actors pay. I played the part of a Border Patrol Officer. The name of the second movie was "On The Line". :)

How many people were in your "extra" casting line?

I dunno... I could never become a mainstream actress anyway... and if I ever really "made it" then my past would come back to haunt me.

250,000 people? What is that? Like half the population of Edmonton?

The "extra" screening started at 10 am... I heard on the news people were lined up as early as 4 am. Fucking unreal!!!

I was an extra in a cut scene in the movie "Footloose" and was an extra in "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid"
pay for "Footloose" = $0
pay for "Honey..."= $65 for one day of filming

Its funny that the movie is actually set in Kansas / Colorado... but they film in Canada.

But its going to be a Jesse James old wild western... so they need to build old town sets somewhere where there is nothingness out in the middle of nowhere. (No telephone poles, etc getting in the way).

I guess thats why they picked here. LOL.
