Joseph Hachem defeated Steven Dannenmann heads up to win the main event of the World Series of Poker. After flopping a straight (4-5-6), the two players exchanged bets until they were all in on the turn (A). Unfortunately for Steven, he was only drawing to a tie as his pair of aces (A-3) was not as strong as he expected. A second 4 hit the river and the Austrailian and his fans chanted away as he was awarded the $7.5 million dollar first place prize.

• Here's a quick summary of the final table: 2 - Steven Dannenmann, 3 - Tex Barch, 4 - Aaron Kanter, 5 - Andrew Black, 6 - Scott Lazar, 7 - Daniel Bergsdorf, 8 - Brad Kondracki, 9 - Mike Matusow.
