After 14 years together, Gina and I are seperating and will most likely divorce.

So, I'll be offline the next few days as we sort things out and decide what we're going to do for ourselves and our kids. I'll still check email and such a couple times, but please bear with me as I try to get things sorted out.

Thanks
well, we tried to fix it, but sometimes you just can't...

we figured staying together unhappy was worse for the kids than splitting on civil terms...

she developed one of those Internet crushes...you know how those go....but I wouldn't want to step in the way of her finding happiness

We tried the open marriage thing, but realized it was just a way to alleviate guilt of wanting someone else...

er, I better stop or I won't have anything left for my article I'm working on ;-)

well......you call it positive????? SHE is taking easy way out and it's bad for the children. Brad Shaw's father took custody of him and he grown up as a bona fide ass hole.

yup, it's positive, she's the one leaving...
I have a stable environment for my kids and am deeply invovled in the school, incluind VP of the PTO...I attend every school play and function they have. I'm one of the top fundraisers in their school...

she is definitely taking the easy way out, but I won't let that interfere with how I raise my children...

You know those few moments in time where life pushes... they are the handshakes that could be changing your direction - hope it works out for the better :)

This sucks to hear Sykk, but if something isn't working then it must get fixed.

Your children are lucky in one respect as they've got a father that loves them and takes a massive interest in their lives. :okthumb:

I hope this works out quickly and with as few problems as possible.

Sorry to hear about the split, but glad to hear that it appears to be civil. The kids are always the ones that end up paying for it the most, and the longest, when it is a bad breakup. Best wishes for a smooth transition.

I'm sorry to hear. I'm in the relationship business and it still irks me whenever I hear someone take advantage of the love and kindness of someone else.
